Rare Wild Flamingo Sighting (Tampa Bay, Florida)
Join us on this Adventure as we spot a VERY RARE sighting: A Wild Flamingo in Tampa Bay, Florida. Flamingo’s became extinct in Florida during the early 20th century when they were hunted for their prized pink feathers, used in hats and boas. The population is very slowly starting making a comeback in the Sunshine State, but only in The Florida Keys, South Florida and Florida Bay so far. Its very rare to see Flamingos in Florida in the wild above South Florida. This bird was blown off course by Hurricane Idalia and somehow ended up in Tampa Bay. (6:37 Min)
