RV Living: How to Survive Hurricanes, High Winds, and Storms (An Insiders Guide)

We grew up in Florida and lived through many hurricanes. Currently, we live in an RV on the Gulf of Mexico near St. Petersburg, Florida. Just this summer we hunkered down during Hurricane Idalia while in our 32ft RV. We survived Hurricane Idalia by moving a few hours away to potential safety and securing our RV during the high winds. But we still went through the strong hurricane bands which included tree bending winds, heavy rain, tornadoes, and flooding.
